Grade 9 Mathematics
This course builds a strong foundation in mathematical thinking and problem-solving. Students develop skills in number sense, algebra, measurement, geometry, data, probability, and financial literacy. Through practical applications and mathematical modelling, students learn to analyze problems, communicate their reasoning, and apply mathematics to real-world situations.
Throughout the course, students strengthen their confidence, accuracy, and ability to use mathematical strategies effectively in preparation for future mathematics courses and everyday decision-making.

Grade 9 Science
This course introduces students to key concepts in biology, chemistry, physics, and Earth and space science. Students explore topics including sustainable ecosystems, atoms and elements, the universe, and the principles of electricity while developing their understanding of how science connects to technology, society, and the environment.
Through inquiry, investigation, problem-solving, and scientific communication, students develop the skills needed to analyze information, explain scientific concepts, and apply their learning to real-world situations.

Grade 9 English
This course develops the essential literacy and communication skills students need for success in secondary school and beyond. Students strengthen their abilities in reading, writing, oral communication, media literacy, and digital literacy while exploring a variety of texts, perspectives, and ideas.
Throughout the course, students learn to think critically, communicate clearly, make meaningful connections to their experiences and the world around them, and use language effectively for different audiences and purposes.
